Here's a piece of telephone-company history you won't find in the yellow pages anymore. This engraved silverplate presentation tray was awarded in 1978 to Maxine L. Travis for 30 years of service with Mountain Bell-one of the "Baby Bells" that later merged into U.S. West and eventually Qwest/CenturyLink/Lumen.
The oval tray features ornate edge beading, twin side handles, and light floral scroll engraving across the surface. Its tarnish has deepened into a warm rainbow patina that collectors of old corporate Americana will appreciate.
